Wholehearted Family Program

Wholehearted: completely and sincerely devoted; determined; enthusiastic

- Merriam-Webster Dictionary

What is Family?

A collection of safe people who can provide the opportunity for emotional and primary relational needs to be met; where life is experienced together in work, love and fun; where values are taught and shaped and where individuals learn the ability to adapt to change.

Why do families struggle?

“Families are faced with navigating the changing demands of developmental transitions, daily life challenges, and unexpected crises all of which require each individual to find and sustain an emotional balance and coherence that govern what it means to promote both belonging and becoming.

Families who struggle to maintain these connections or lack opportunity and ability to retain these bonds fall into psychological and relationship distress.”

How can we help your family?

Our Wholehearted Family Program equips families who are experiencing conflict, challenges with communication and broken relationships.

This program is comprised of various content, including Family Systems Models and Emotionally Focused Family Therapy techniques, as well as resources for use during and after the sessions. It’s designed for families with children over the age of 13 through adulthood. Sessions are designed for assessment, education, coaching and support.

Goals include learning new skills to address current challenges, treatment of specific issues that are identified within the family dynamics, and integration of new behaviors.

“While science has affirmed the centrality of human connection to personal well-being, it has also exposed the price paid when close connections-family in particular-are troubled or impaired. When families falter today, the ripples seem to inflict greater damage than in years past.”
