Brian Laurence

Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

Brian is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (#101216).  He received his MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from California Southern University, and BS in Psychology from CSU Hayward (East Bay).  He realized his passion for psychology during a full career in law enforcement while working with families in crisis and the seriously mentally ill in the community.  He serves as a Care Pastor with his church and is a US Army veteran. 

Brian has experience working with teens, adults and groups in community, county and faith-based settings.  He believes in taking a collaborative, strengths-based approach with clients and uses a variety of techniques to help them find hope and healing as they achieve their goals.  He has been married for over 25 years and has two adult children.  He enjoys spending time with his family and fishing the streams of the Sierra Nevada.
