Jeanne seeks to balance supportive connection with skilled intervention to help clients feel understood and motivated to meet their life goals. Her therapy practice is informed through years of experience facilitating classes and groups for individuals, couples, and parents in a church ministry context.
Jeanne offers couple and pre-marital counseling from a variety of effective treatment modalities including Prepare/Enrich, emotion focused couples therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for high conflict couples. Jeanne’s practice also focuses on the treatment of Postpartum Mood and Anxiety Disorders. She is a graduate of the Harris Early Childhood Mental Health program and strongly believes that emotional, relational and spiritual health is best fostered in healthy family relationships.
Jeanne enjoys working with clients to reduce anxiety and depression, repair trauma, and navigate phase of life issues. One passion is facilitating ongoing DBT skills groups to help clients that have been exposed to trauma or neglect learn practical skills to manage intense emotion and improve relationships.
Jeanne is married, has two adult daughters, and two grandsons. In her spare time, you might find her swimming, hiking, reading, baking treats, sitting by the fire on a rainy day, or spending time with family and friends.
