Julie is an Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC5834) who has worked with adult individuals, couples, and groups.

Julie previously worked at a community health center in Chicago, IL, focusing on adult individuals, couples, crisis intervention, transitional life skills, and MISA (Mentally ill/ Substance abuse) groups. Julie has counseled and taught life skills to women at the Teen Challenge Women’s Center in San Jose, helping them work toward recovery from addiction and the restoration of families. She currently volunteers at SonRise Equestrian Center, working with youth living with social, emotional, or physical challenges, including terminal illness.
Julie has been trained in a wide range of both short and long-term therapeutic modalities. She believes in a holistic, encouraging, and collaborative approach to therapy.
Julie enjoys using her professional skills and life experience to help her clients find hope, resiliency, and healing. She strives to build a therapeutic relationship of trust based on spiritual principles, facilitating change to help clients move toward a self-actualized life of purpose, serenity, confidence, and integrity.

Julie’s educational background includes a Masters degree in Professional Counseling from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology and Bachelors degree from the University of Florida.
